the weekend was kinda placid. we have not had brunch at the solid grounds recently because erika has been working at roswell over the past few weekends. perhaps the only mildly interesting thing that also happened was that we ate dinner with lainie on saturday at libro’s, a place past north campus. i had actually heard of it because i had seen the head chef/owner on some public tv cooking show, so i was hopeful the food would be good. unfortunately, it was pretty mediocre. the restaurant was what i would call a typical inexpensive italian-american family place with quite a large lunch and dinner menu. all of us had some form of pasta, and all the dishes were so-so. perhaps we should have gotten one of the specials as they seemed interesting.
anyways, the place was just alright… not really all that bad considering how cheap stuff was. not worth going to unless you live right by it tho.
the corolla’s right front headlight is out; amanda has just left to get another one. she got out of work early today so she could study for her pediatrics exam tomorrow. the snow is still pouring down. hopefully i wil be able to get back to ithaca tomorrow as my poor fish have not been fed in days. normally, natalie would have fed them, but she has been out of town for the past couple of weeks. i put some of the weekend feeders in all the tanks, but i am sure (for the goldfish at least) they were gobbled up rather quickly
