it is time to do an abridged stream of consciousness holiday recap; otherwise, i may never actually finish. so, what are some things that happened between 25 dec 2003 and 04 jan 2004?
– we spent the 25th – 28th with amanda’s family in wooster.
– there were presents and food for all.
– amanda said it was the last year to get presents and that everyone should travel somewhere else instead.
– we eventually got our backpacks back from united.
– we saw “the return of the king”. it was the best one of the movie trilogy imo.
– tho with regards to the books, i like the first half of “the two towers” the best
– we played trivial pursuit with stacey and cranium later with her and her family
– we went back home to buffalo with a week left before goint back to work
– mr. blue passed away! i later decided it may have been old age combined with some sort of infection.
– after cleaning our his tank, we freed another betta from the petstore and called him mr. aqua
– later we changed his name to w. t. — short for “white tips”
– i got a weird 24 hour malaise thing that sapped my energy for a while
– amanda got it a few days later.
– we spent a lot of time cleaning and organizing the apartment
– we also cought up on our sleep and spent quality time with the piglet
– we spent the new year at toro with lainie and i had the worse champange ever. afterwards, we went to a party a erika’s place.
– we bought a diffuser thing called feliway that apparently spits some cat pheremone in the air like an air freshener that calms them down and discourages spraying. we don’t know if it really works.
– we had sushi at “o” with lainie even though amanda does not like sushi. she got a noodle bowl instead.
so, maybe it’s time to continue transcribing my canadian trip journals from last summer…
