the drive back to ithaca was painful. it took 1.25 hours for me to drive the six miles from our apartment to the interstate. the roads were pretty crappy, there were a hell of a lot of cars on the road (probably because everyone was driving very slow), and there were alot of pedestrians wandering about in the road(sidewalks were not shoveled, kids waiting for their buses or walking to school, yadda yadda yadda). however, once i got past batavia, things weren’t so bad.
amanda apparently was late to her pediatrics exam; it had taken her 45 minutes to get to school (at least, that’s where i think she took it), and that is only a couple of miles away. there were many students late, so the powers-that-be postponed the exam for half and hour.
the weather looks to be pretty crappy tomorrow, too. i should have just stayed in buffalo for the week, but i had to get back to feed the fishies. it is also much easier/faster to work on some stuff here rather than connecting and remotely controlling things from home. i also have a meeting tomorrow; being physically present is always better.
