a low key weekend…
1. friday: amanda and i both worked (shocking, i know). amanda passed out when she got home and did not eat any of the dinner that i had made!
2. saturday: amanda was working from 5:30am or so to sometime sunday morning. i kinda did not really get up until 11:30am when amanda came by the apartment to change; she was going to a residency fair since there was no one currently in labor at the hospital. she was still on call tho and was not impressed with my lethargy. i worked and fiddled around with my various computers at home and ran errands. i brought amanda some veggie sushi for dinner.
3. sunday: amanda got home early in the morning and slept in until 3:30pm. i don’t remember what i did except for working out and, well, who knows. i imagine i alternately worked and surfed the web until amanda woke up. we were going to go with lainie to the buffalo bills game as she had to be at a clinic there taking care of injured fans, but the weather was kinda nasty and we probably would not have been able to see much (except for the aforementioned sick fans), so we stayed at home. later, we watched dark city. i remember it being cooler when i saw it a few years ago. now, tho, it seemed like a good idea that really wasn’t implemented very well. good thing fast forward exists. we ventured outside for the first time in the evening for take-out chinese. erika and dave stopped by later to for visit; apparently the rest of their vacation in canada was very relaxing.
4. monday: amanda and i both worked. yadda yadda yadda. oh, yes, monday is clean-the-apartment-and-do-laundry day. amanda is sleeping right now, but i try to wake her up every half hour (her request), but it looks like she’s out for the night. i am working (surprise!). or i will continue to work after i finish this entry.
guess the weekend was pretty boring.
