amanda and i saw matrix revolutions last night at the galleria. we both found it entertaining in spite of all the reviews that i had read bashing the movie. i think people did not like it or were disappointed in it because either they do not like such movies to begin with or perhaps the movie was not what they individually wanted it to be.
i personally would have liked the story to turn out differently that it did, less action and more bubblegum/lightweight philosophy, and more matrix action and less real life action. and perhaps a different plot. however, in spite of all that, it was still entertaining, and it would hardly be proper for be to bash it for it not being what i wanted.
we were going to go to kahunaville at the mall afterwards (since we have never been), but it looked too weird for us so we left. we then visited erika at her condo. she was sick, but she and her mom were watching a movie: red dragon. she later revealed she watches it all the time, which seems kinda twisted to me (but then i am one to talk).
we stopped by the ihop on the way home to have dinner at 11:45pm or so. this turned out to be a mistake, since i was kept up all night with stomach pains undoubtably due to the the greasiness of the food.
anyways, amanda and i are going to toronto for the evening/day tomorrow with erika and dave; he has some time share thing outside of the city. should be fun.
