don (one of my coworkers) got his snapple swag in the mail the other day. he has been saving snapple caps for a very long time now had recently traded some in for random stuff (this being some promotional thing snapple has been running). he got a laptop case, a snapple mouse pad, and some inflatable snapple furniture (a sofa and a table). the furniture is currently sitting between our two cubicles, and everyone is alternately fascinated and replused by its vinyl splendor. in the afternoon, if it is sunny, the sofa glows like some weird magical throne-type thing.
of course, the plasticizer in it is starting to get to me as it releases into the air. i suppose he will have to get rid of it when visitors come. in the meantime, we are using it as walt’s waiting room; people who are waiting to talk to walt sit in it until he deigns to talk to them.
oh, and i didn’t win the lottery. maybe next time…
