i apparently have hit 183; my weight has been steadily dropping since my summer of decadence (all the travel and having a good time and all). i can’t imagine it dropping too much more tho unless i stop weight training. amanda attributes it to the fact don’t eat my 3600 calories of fried potatoe products on the thruway each week. she seems to think that i am in better shape than i have ever been in (even when i crazily dropped under 160 two years ago after our sabbatical in the canadian rockies). i don’t really think so; i am sure that i was in better shape when she first met me. back then i was still bicycling between 100-200 miles a week; i was in absurd cardiovascular shape. i was also around 215 – 220. i had the famous t. rex bicyclist bodytype then… not so, now. i must have lost 40 lbs of muscle in my thighs alone (but have gained more upper body muscle). crazy. i miss bicycling, but i do not really have the opportunity or time anymore. buffalo is not very conducive to bicycling, unlike ithaca and the finger lakes.
hmm, i wonder if i am going to win mega millions tonight? ya never know.
