my court date for my alleged running of a stop sign as been rescheduled for 30 oct 2003. “the people of new york vs. poor me”. funny. ok, the notice did not say “poor me”. maybe i’ll get lucky and the district attorney will just drop the charges since it is my first traffic offense. the town of geneva is nice in the sense that their traffic court always starts at 6pm (rather than at say 7am at other places). most people perhaps would not have to miss too much work.
here’s a funny phrase that maybe i can use in a real conversation someday: “lose the tinfoil hat, sparky”. maybe even at my trial! the judge will love that.
