today was low key. we ate brunch with erika at a diner on hertal whose name is escaping me and later went to the galleria to look for shoes whose name is also escaping me for amanda that apparently are ultra comfortable (important for long surgical procedures). we then went back home to meet up with her parents.
after they arrived, we went to various places to look for some shirts for her dad. they came up to go to a third year ceremony for the medical students (welcoming them to their clinical years or somesuch). we made dinner (fajitas and nachos and the like), and then rushed off to see pirates of the carribean tonight. it was very good. i thought the fx with the pirates going into and out of the moonlight were very cool.
