so today i worked, and amanda had her third year orientation all day. not much to say about that i guess. amanda’s parents headed back to ohio this morning. it was nice and cool earlier today, but heated up in the aftermoon. the heat and humiidy was making it difficult to concentrate on work (which was difficult anyway due to my prolonged vacation this month).
i did manage to finish sealing the bathroom tub/shower area. hopefully the caulking and tape will hold, but i can always touch it up later.
we met our new neighbor today. he is one of the trainer dudes at our gym (and i recognized him, but did not know his name), and he said that he had not seen us there recently! oh, no!
i was going to go to the gym, but i felt weird from the heat and my rich diet recently. i skipped dinner, but went to mighty taco with amanda where she got her usual nacho meal which she ate at delaware park. we both got a modicum of exercise walking about the park (which definitely helped me feel better).
later in the evening, we went to spot coffee on elmwood and met up with erika and nathan (a med-peds 3year resident). they talked medical stuff with very little input from me, of course. clearly, i am getting punished for all the times i subjected amanda to random technical conversations with most of the people i tend to associate with.
