amanda and i will be leaving for home tomorrow. sad. oh, well, i suppose its finally time to go back and like work and all.
we left banff a few days ago and spent the time in yoho in british columbia. yesterday, we went on the best hike i have ever been on… the alpine circuit in the lake o’hara region. the hike, the scenery, everything was incredible all the time, and it was all compressed into about a six hour hike.
amanda spiked a fever last night tho, and that always sucks when you are in the backcountry. but it broke last night, and she’s feeling much better today.
so, today, we left the kicking horse campground and stopped by lake louise, because, you know, who knows if we will ever be back. it was a gloriously sunny morning, and the lake looked as unreal as it always does. we then drove on to banff and ate breakfast at the coyote grill (by far the best place for breakfast here unless you want to go to the castle). now we are catching up on email and the like and will probably spend the day picking up some trinkets, packing (we fly out of calgary very early tomorrow), and generally not doing much. hopefully, i will be able to update the weblog with our daily trip journal, but perhaps i will wait until we get all of our photos developed (don’t have a digital camera yet unfortunately).
