ok, so i am not really any closer to writing up our trip journals nor getting our pictures developed. what can you do. i am still sick with a severe cough, but doc kuntz gave me various prescriptions to take care of the supposed infection plus deal with the coughing. he said i could wait it out, and may have to if its viral (which odds are that it is), but that may take quite a while and i still need the cough suppressants if i want to get any sleep at night and do some work during the day. the two+ years ago i did try to wait it out, but after two months broke down after my chest muscles were totally shredded; i don’t need to be going through that again (although i was much sicker with walking pneumonia and bronchitis then). i forget what doc kuntz said i had; amanda knew (obviously) what he was talking about tho. i lump it under bronchitis caused my mysterious infective agents.
otherwise, i feel fine… the cough is annoying tho.
amanda called the med school earlier to get the results of her usmle step one exam, and she apparently crushed her competition. “i could be an orthopod if i want!” says she. vishal says that walt is now the second smartest person that he knows. perhaps we will celebrate with sumptuous dinner tonight.
work paid for our lunch today… instead of our monthly beer bash, which is funded by us, we had a building wide lunch instead so that we will “actually talk to one another instead of using the beer bash as an excuse to leave early.” it was fun, and free food is always good :).
