after an ungodly number of rainy days, the sun has finally appeared, and it has appeared with a vengeance as it is very warm outside. tho perhaps my experience has been colored by the fact i work in an airconditioned room, and i’ve just returned from sitting in a very hot car. (un)fortunately for me, it was still too rainy and cold for we to go running this morning, but it looks like i will not have that excuse to use anymore.
i finally got around to putting my steering wheel cover on (those fake leather things that wrap around a car’s steering wheel). i bought a replacement one more than six months ago and have been carting it around with me in my backpack for ages. well, it finally in the corolla. too bad that i originally bought it for the subaru; i guess i’ll have to acquire another.
driving never feels right with me if i don’t have the wrap there… the wheel seems too thin or too smooth or whatever. i guess that happens when you’ve been using them all your life. i think i’ve converted amanda; she can’t handle driving without one now, too.
