i tried going to the dmv today, but the line was freakishly long. they had a note saying that they were short three people, but, really, the line wasn’t any longer than its normal crazy length. i needed to change my address and renew the registration for our corolla wagon, but after seeing the line and futilely trying to find the paperwork, i bailed out and went back to work.
there were certainly a lot of disguntled people there; i am surprised that one never hears people going crazy at the dmv like at the post office.
that last time i was there (to register our subaru?), a guy was screaming at the top of his lungs about the outrageousness of the government and the dmv; he had been trying to unsuspend his license for the past few days but there was always some little thing that he or they were always screwing up. he was doing it in good fun, tho, and everyone there including the dmv workers thought he was a riot.
