the suburu is still very very filthy from my move many weeks ago. it still has lots of stuff inside, most notably my rusting cans of white gas and a bottle of bleach. unfortunately, the bleach broke open some days ago, and now the whole car smells like, well, bleach. there are also some still covering the plastic mat i have in the back (i don’t know why it doesn’t just evaporate). anyways, now i am undoubtably breathing nontrivial amounts of chlorine plus the more volatile components of the white gas… although they are theorectically sealed, i can still smell it a bit.
i’ll be driving to buffalo later today, so i guess i just have to keep the windows open. i just got back from running some errands and now i have a viscous headache and a slight weirdness in my throat.

on the plus side, i noticed that the bleach that escaped the mat has made the underlying upholstery much cleaner by getting out a lot of the dirt and trash strains.
