so today i was eating some pizza (gino’s $3.62 special) a bit too enthusiastically and managed to bit my tongue really really hard. so hard, that it ended up bleeding significantly for maybe and hour and a half later. crazy. tho, as one might imagine, stopping your tongue from bleeding isn’t exactly easy, as there are many things like saliva, swallowing, and the like that all conspire to break open the injury again. i ended up just apply lots of pressure with my fingers and a paper towel for a long long time. unfortunately, all the blood that i consumed has made me feel kinda weird, so i am not getting a lot done here at work.
what with digesting all of my own blood, i have no need for my spleen’s biological obstacle course and its associated killer macrophages.
amanda is still feeling pretty sick, as the stuff she is taking for an infection is doing a good job of killing all the various organisms inside, but it is also making her very nausous. aren’t we a healthy bunch.
