connecticut just beat tennessee in the women’s final four. i was rooting for tennessee, perhaps because they were more the underdog. oh, well. i watched the game at work because i don’t have cable at home can i can log in at work and do other things while watching the game.
natalie had an unpleasant time with all the realtors showing the house last weekend. apparently, some showed up without warning, some showed up late and/or stayed way longer than stated, and other random things. while i will be nostalgic for this house that i have lived in for the past seven years, neither she nor i can wait until we get out of here on 01 may.
amanda called earlier and said that karen’s apartment building caught fire, and she had to pick her up from the hospital (she was admitted for smoke inhalation). crazy. usually one thinks that the old rickety houses and buildings are more likely to catch fire, but karen’s place seemed more modern and kept up. she will be staying with us in buffalo temporarily, but amanda has to de-pigletize the place since karen is allergic to cats.
there was a fire alarm at the gym when i was there on sunday. maybe if i had looked at my tarot cards, the tower would have showed up for this week.
