a rare day for falafel

// 2003.04.09 22:52 //

it was a foggy day today. ithaca looked very spooky with the thick fog and with the ground still covered in snow. i was going to try to take some artistic pictures, but forgot to have my camera handy.
i had lunch with vishal at king david’s; he and traian had been complaining about the construction that was going to start downtown on both parking garages (thereby depriving everyone of parking over the summer), so we decided to get lunch downtown while we could. as usual, i had the lunch special (falafel on whole wheat, lentil soup, and medium diet coke). i must be over $2500 spent there since i’ve been in ithaca. i think was over $2000 last time i checked quicken. that is certainly a lot of falafel. fortunately for my stash of monies, since i have been telecommuting from buffalo, i do not really eat at kind david’s anymore.
wonder of wonders, someone apparently put an offer on the house in ithaca. i wonder how much it went for. my landlords dropped the price down to $109k. hopefully the realtors will no longer torment us until we move out.
